  1. What were the prophets searching for? (Verse 10-11)
  2. Who was their message ultimately for? (Verse 12)
  3. What are you to “set your hope completely on….”?
    1. What does the enemy want us to set our hopes on…? Why?
  4. Where is the “serious” battle for self-discipline fought after we have salvation and the Holy Spirit comes into out hearts? (1 Peter 1:13)
  5. What are the things God has given us to practice self-discipline and get “your minds ready for action”?
  6. What redeemed us? (Verses 18-19)
