#06 My Friends

As the Father loved me so I loved you Remain in that love as I have too So that My joy may be complete in You

This is My commandment I give that's new Love one another as I loved You You are My friends if this one thing you do

I do not call you servants No I call you My friends So hear my Father's words I now unveil You did not choose me, servant No I chose you, My friend Appointed that your fruit, it would prevail

If the world hates you then undoubtedly Before your time they first hated Me No rhyme nor reason, just like the Psalm they sung

If you were of this world, this earthly home Would shower you with love as it's own But you are not of the only world they know

They know you as My servants But I call you My friends To listen to these words I've still to tell A slave is never greater Than all his master's words If they came after Me, they'll you as well I do foretell

Love one another just as I loved You

And greater love has no one That you could find than this That one lay down his life for his friends And you can search the whole world But you would only miss The greatest love came down is heaven sent
