#06 The Micah Song

You can plead unto the mountains The hills can hear your voice But the lies that you are mounting Won't stand before foundations of the earth

So listen all you mountains And hear your makers voice The case against My people It will endure foundations of the earth

Will you act unjust, be merciless And go hard against your God Or will you act as just, in mercy love And walk humbly with your God

And what have I done to you Or have I wearied you With all the good things I have done And what will you say to Me When in your slavery I Sent you Moses and Miriam

So burn and bring an offering And give a thousand rams But you can’t buy My favor It’s not for sale, so what do I demand?

Will you act as just, in mercy love And walk humbly with your God Or will you act unjust, be merciless And go hard against your God

With what should you bring before To bow unto the Lord When I have told you what is good And what does the Lord require It is the heart inside That will show you what is good

And what shall I give to you My only son would do But do you know that He is good And what can you say to Me And would you find Me pleased When you trample what is good
